Dr. Allison Pepper completed her chiropractic doctorate at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon but is proud to be back where she grew up in the East Kootenays as a Cranbrook local.
She is passionate about physical activity and fitness, the outdoors and living in the mountains. Her extensive sports background which includes baseball and collegiate volleyball, which she spent 2 years on the BC Women’s Baseball team and predominately, for 4 years with the College of the Rockies Women’s Volleyball team. She recently started CrossFit and has enjoyed being back in a more competitive environment.
The reason I decided to become a chiropractor is I love helping people get better and reach their full potential. Through my years of sport and competition, I have experienced injuries and through that, a passion for the human body and what it is capable of. My goal is to meet patients where they are at, helping them reach their goals, whether it is to be pain free or to enter a competition. I’m passionate about providing preventative and supportive care as well. I’m excited to serve the community that has provided me with so much.
During my education, I learned extensively about evidence-informed treatments, with whole person care. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare with an emphasis on empowering patients. This starts by understanding that every body is different and providing individualistic care to each patient. I utilize treatment methods including manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and rehabilitation exercises.
